This article will give you important tips on how you can study from home during the pandemic and what you have to follow to stay organized.

1. Establish a daily routine

You know what? Behind every success, there is a strong routine. A routine you must follow with consistency. Now by strong routine, we don’t point to restless nights and days without fun. So let’s dive into some fundamental principles of daily routine.

2.Set clear goals for yourself before you go to the bed

This is one of the main things. Your goals should be based on the tasks that you have to complete or some shorter version of your big target. Before setting goals there are two major things that you need to keep in mind.

Be very specific

Do not burden yourself by setting some unrealistic goals. That will, in turn, impel you to stress and anxiety. Your goals should be clear and practical.

Define 1-3 goals for the day

The frequency of your goals can be altered as per your strength and habits. But on average it is decent enough to have one to three goals, that will not suppress you.

Just be clear and specific what and how you can study from home, what you want to achieve on which day and then just sit down and study hard. I know what you will say now “That is easier said, than done” and I agree with you, but don’t forget more tips and tricks are coming to support you.

Let time not hinder you from scheduling your tasks. Snatch out extra 30 minutes from your day and schedule everything judiciously. So that you don’t end up in chaos the next day.

6. Create a learning environment

Break the myths, you cannot study well or concentrate on your work while hanging out on your bed. You need to create an environment that fills you up with energy to do the work. An environment and surroundings that motivates you to glue your eyes to the work. So, let us see how you can create a fruitful environment that suits your requirements.

7. Find out the best room

For this, you have to sit and experience your levels of concentrations in each room of your house. Try out every room that is available in your home. Then choose the one which fits you the best. Also, keep in mind the prerequisites of your work before switching to a room.

8. Choose the perfect area

Now when you are done with selecting a room, it’s time to look for a perfect space within that room. And to make it possible here’s a pro tip for you:

Create a boundary between your work/study space and a relaxing area. Well, this tip seems to be very specific and common, but can still help you to increase your focus level threefold. This will also help you to fix up your stress and anxiety that has jumbled up in your mind while you are working.

Do not forget to cut off the distractions completely from your work boundary. Like, if a song that sets you high and distracts you, should not interrupt while performing an important task.

Keep your working space accessible, that is, arrange all the necessary stuff that you might need while working close to you. Maybe it’s a bottle of water, some snacks, your charger, your drives or anything that seems relevant to you.

9.Tidy up your space

In short, minimize the mess around you. Do not jumble up stuff, keep everything sorted and well organized. Most importantly, do not forget to keep the unwanted stuff out of your working space to expand the space around you. Plus, if you are a student pile up your books neatly and if you are a parent encourage your kids to arrange their stuff by demonstrating it to them, right in front of their eyes.

10. Develop a learning environment that ignites

This is a significant step especially if you are a student, just schedule a weekly discussion with other students or colleagues to track your progress and attributes. Attributes can be anything like the time you take to complete a given task, how many tasks you can handle in a day and so on. This interaction helps you in understanding what people around you are doing and maintaining good relations.

11. Take small breaks

Well everybody knows that up to a certain span our brain functions well. And once we cross this period our brains get saturated which in turn affects our stress and productivity levels. So to avoid such a scenario small breaks are pretty much good. Although these breaks may seem small they refuel your mind to another level. All these breaks must be after a regular interval of 2 – 3 hours.

You can enjoy your breaks in the way you like. Maybe someone would like to listen to your favourite songs or talk to your dear ones or maybe a tea with a snack. Plan it the way you want, and just indulge yourself in it completely so that your brain gets a recharge. Which will help you in focusing on your work very well after the break. That always helps you when you want to study from home in your home office.

Conclusion

So these were some tips that will help you to study from home by organizing yourself and your environment. Yes, studying from home is not an easy task but you can make it up, by keeping up to some decent schedule. While each one of you would be having varying tastes from scheduling your tasks to getting a break, all this stuff are small and super significant in getting the most out of you.  Towards the end does not procrastinate anymore, stop dwelling on and start planning your day at home. Kudos to learning from home.

Why you should consider studying in Europe

The world is developing day by day. If we look around, we can see that technology has made the lives of people a living pleasure. Every field is developing and so is the field of education. We went from taking classes in a school to taking classes in the comfort of our own beds. People are learning different skills and doing different courses online without leaving their homes. They are even getting online degrees but the experience of going outside to learn is a lot different than doing it at your home.

Deciding about where you want to pursue your education either it is for bachelors or masters is very important because that single decision has the power to change your life forever. Your bachelors or masters is going to take a handful amount of your time and effort, and you should be sure of how and where you want to invest it.

Process of study abroad

If you have decided that you want to go to another country for your education, then there are few things that you need to plan to make your experience smooth and joyful.

1. Which country do you prefer?

Now this is something that you should focus on the most. There are many countries out there that offer their educational services to international students, but they are different in terms of their total time, quality of study, living expenses and languages. Each country has their pros and cons. You will read more about that in our next articles. Some countries are cheaper like the Ukraine or Poland, some of them offer easier working permits, some of them allow you to work half or full time during your program, like UAE, Poland or Cyprus.

Other countries give you the opportunity to obtain a work permit after successful completion for at least six months or one year, for example the UK, Austria or Germany. German speaking countries often require a German language level of B2, which gives you the opportunity to lead conversations with native speakers.

Another aspect that you should consider is how secure the country is. Most European countries are very secure, the police is very helpful also to foreigners and most of especially younger people do have a decent level of English.

2. Choose your level of education

If you are going for an undergraduate degree in abroad, you will get the experience at an early age and if you are looking for post graduate programs then your CV will thank you and your technical skills will be quite polished. In addition to that you will have a wide range of courses to choose from. Do you still remember your passion of developing the best gaming app or the fastest bike in the world? You can learn how to do it. If data, chemistry, and technology is your thing, you can take that as your major course. If you have always been curious about the human body functions like me, then you can take that as your major as well.

3. Work permits and other advantages

In many countries, work permits are given to students that graduates from their country. In addition to that are a whole bunch of opportunities present there awaiting you.

Firms that aid through your process

If you are confused about the whole process of applying, all the documents that you are going to need and other stuff, then you should try to get in touch with the firms and consultants that are helping students in their processes and visa maters.

Now let’s say that you have decided to go abroad for your studies, and you have selected a country, the program or degree that you want to pursue, and you have done all the research that you need to do but now you are not sure that whether you should go for it or just stay at your home country and continue your education there. That is the time that you should focus on the positive points. Yes, it is very tough to leave your family and friends and move to a place where you do not know anybody all by yourself. It will be very difficult for anybody to leave their comfort zone and face the realities of the world. So, here are some points that may bring your motivation back.

Advantages of studying abroad

1. The person that you will become after all the experience and adventure will be incredible.

2. You will explore a lot of places and will be able to meet people of different culture and mindsets.

3. You might make some good friends for the rest of your life.

4. You will discover potential career opportunities.

5. You will taste all the popular food of that country and some of the dishes might become your favorite.

6. You will develop a coping mechanism for the tough situations in future and learn self-reliance.

7. That experience is surely going to give you some life lessons.

8. You will realize the importance of family in your life and start loving them more.

9. You will be an inspiration for the younger generation in your family and society.

10. Your perspective of looking at things will be changed tremendously.

11. If you study abroad then you have the chance to get a higher income in abroad and in your home country as well.

Why you should consider going to Europe

In my opinion the best place to go abroad for study is Europe and I have some pretty good reasons to make it your favorite place too.

1. The basic eligibility criteria to enter any country for study purposes is TOFEL or IELTS. Countries from around the globe ask their international students to submit TOFEL or IELTS score and if they have not already attempted the test, then they are advised to give a test. Now it might not be a problem for many students, and they can easily pass the test, submit their score, and continue with their application process but for a lot of students it is not a piece of cake. Students sometimes might not achieve their desired score and feel discouraged. But the good news is that to study in Europe, you do not require a ILETS or TOFEL test.

2. In addition to ILETS, Europe also accept applicants without a GRE which stands for graduate record examination score.

3. Many European countries provide free education to European students but some of them also provide free education to international students as well if they are deserving and hardworking.

4. While many countries do not allow for work permits during studying or even after completing education, countries in Europe provide easy work permits to students and graduates.

5. Due to the diversity in the different countries in Europe, language is not a barrier to live and study there.

Study abroad Experiences

1. You will surely get to know about the teaching style of another country and if it suits you, you can implement it in your country as well.

2. The culture varieties that you will know with all the exploring will blow your mind.

3. You will get to know about the global problems, the problems that people are facing in the other parts of the world and how they are dealing with them.

4. Your network will be a lot wider and that will surely buy you some career opportunities in the future.

If you are still not sure about studying abroad, then I will suggest you reach out to some of the students that are already studying abroad. They can be someone from your family and relatives or some university alumni’s. I am quite sure that they will be more than happy to share their life experiences and guide you towards your goal. You can ask about them the questions that you have in mind and the things that are stopping you from taking this big step towards your future and if you have already decided a country or a university abroad, you can find the students at that university or country and see what hurdles they are facing there and how they are dealing with them. How their experience in abroad been so far.

I have seen many people say that going for abroad for study is very expensive and it will take you a lifetime to pay off the student loans, but the world is full of opportunities and scholarships. Many universities give grants and incentives to their applicants. Many students also work part time jobs to aid their daily expenses and it also improves your communication and time managements skills. Everything is difficult until you do it.

Conclusion

So, if you are thinking of pursuing a bachelors or master’s degree or any other type of short-term program that requires you to go to another country, you should totally give it a try because these types of opportunities are once in a lifetime.

There are also so many firms, so many people that can guide you through all the process and nearly takes down half of your work.

You should always keep an eye on the study abroad programs that many websites and universities offer from time to time and apply for them if you fit in the eligibility criteria.
